The Union and the Community Discuss the Affairs of the Wounded and Sick Gazans in Turkey

On Saturday, January 27, 2024, a delegation from the Palestinian-Turkish Businessmen Union visited the Palestinian community in Istanbul. This visit was part of a series of visits decided by the Union’s Board of Directors to strengthen ties between Palestinian and Arab institutions and the Union within the Turkish arena.
Discussions focused on developing and consolidating the relationship between the Union and the community, as well as the affairs of Palestinians in Turkey, particularly the cases of wounded individuals coming from Gaza.
The delegation included the Union’s Chairman Mr. Mazen Al-Hassasna, his deputy Mr. Mahmoud Al-Saghir, Board members Mr. Asim Bakir and Mr. Fouad Badawi, and the Union’s Director Dr. Ranin Al-Zaanin. They were warmly received by the Head of the Community, Engineer Rajeh Nassar, and his deputy Engineer Wael Al-Mashouki.
The meeting also addressed Israeli practices in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and their impact on Palestinians. The delegation expressed its readiness to cooperate and contribute continuously to supporting the community to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people both in their homeland and in Turkey.
