The Palestinian Minister of National Economy, Eng. Mohammed Al-Amour, met with the Palestinian-Turkish Businessmen Union in the presence of dozens of Palestinian businessmen and traders. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Turkey, Dr. Faed Mustafa, the Consul General Hanaa Abu Ramadan, Consul Moaz Al-Atshan, and the advisor at the Palestinian Embassy in Ankara, Rana Abu Siba’a.

The meeting opened with a speech by the Chairman of the Palestinian-Turkish Businessmen Union, Mr. Mazen Al-Hassasna, followed by remarks from the Ambassador, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the Embassy’s ongoing role in supporting the interests of the Palestinian people in Turkey.

Minister Al-Amour discussed the new Palestinian procedures related to the import of Turkish goods. The meeting focused on ways to enhance economic cooperation and facilitate the entry of Turkish products into Palestinian markets. The Minister stressed the importance of this meeting in strengthening trade relations between Palestine and Turkey, highlighting the need to address the problems faced by Palestinian traders resulting from these procedures.

All inquiries from Palestinian businessmen and traders involved in import and export were taken into consideration, especially regarding customs declarations and the export of goods from Turkey to Palestine. Several questions about customs procedures were raised to ensure the facilitation of trade exchange and to enhance the economic benefits for both parties.
