In a significant step to strengthen relations and discuss urgent Palestinian matters, a delegation from the Palestinian-Turkish Businessmen Union made an official visit to the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Turkish capital, Ankara. The delegation was headed by Mr. Mazen Al-Hassasna, Chairman of the Board, along with his deputy Mr. Mahmoud Al-Saghir and several board members including Mr. Ziad Al-Dahlez, Dr. Jalal Kahil, Mr. Fouad Badawi, and the Union’s Director Ms. Ranin Al-Zaanin.

The delegation was warmly received by His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Faed Mustafa, who expressed deep sorrow over the current situation and the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

Ambassador Mustafa also affirmed that the embassy and its staff are exerting their utmost efforts to assist the Palestinian community in Turkey, especially the Palestinian students from Gaza. The meeting discussed ongoing efforts to follow up on the condition of wounded Palestinians evacuated to Turkey and the cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Health to ensure they receive the necessary treatment and medical care.

For his part, Mr. Mazen Al-Hassasna confirmed the Union’s commitment to continue exerting all efforts to support the Palestinian people, both inside the homeland and in Turkey.

This meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation between the Union and the Palestinian Embassy, with the aim of providing support and assistance to the Palestinian people across various fields.
