President

Mr. Mahmoud Sughayer was born in 1963 in the beloved homeland of Palestine, specifically in the city of Hebron, which is considered the largest commercial center in Palestine, where he completed his primary and secondary education.

He came to the Republic of Turkey in 1980 for the purpose of education and completed his university studies at the Middle East Technical University, majoring in Business Administration.

He is one of the founders and former president of the Palestinian community in Turkey, the founder and president of the Jerusalem Popular union, and a founder and member of several Palestinian unions and institutions in Turkey. He is also one of the founders of the Palestinian-Turkish Businessmen Union, having served as a former board member and vice president, and is currently the chairman of its board for the new 2025 term.

Mr. Sughayer works in several fields, most notably shipping and international trade, as he owns the Emperor Company for Trade and International Shipping in Turkey, in addition to investments in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He is fluent in Arabic and Turkish, as well as English.

He is married and has six children and four grandchildren.

Our goal is for our Union to stand among the distinguished unions and associations in the field of economic development and sustainable growth, in order to meet the aspirations of our members and to uplift both the businessman and the community alike.
